1964 Ford F100. 137,000 miles on truck, miles on engine are unknown. Engine is a 390 from a 1974 truck. Engine runs fine, starts right up. Engine has brand new ford 2150 2 barrell carb, new plugs, wires, points, condensor, rotor, cap. New radiator and radiator hoses/cap. Water pump was replaced about 800 miles ago. Dual exhaust. Exhaust manifolds are off of a 1965 engine, were resurfaced and new heat shields/gaskets installed. Both mufflers are flowmasters. Original 4 speed transmission, granny gear, manual clutch, works/shifts fine. Rear end is a DANA 60, 9 3/4 inch ring gear, 4.10 gears. Yolk has been replaced about 500 miles ago. Transfer case is a DANA, mounts, all 3 bearings and seals were replaced about 500 miles ago. Front end is a DANA 44. Both front wheel bearings and protecting housing were also replaced 500 miles ago. 4x4 works great. SHifts easily into high and low gear. Battery-newer. 8 foot bed, very solid. Truck is extremely solid, cab mounts are excellent, passenger cab corner needs work, small spot in the floor (not where your feet are) very solid around it. All lights, horn, turn signals, brakes, high beams, radio, fuel guage, speedometer, temp, volt guage work. New windshied and new headlight switch. Tires - wild country 33" on 16" steel wheels. This vehicle is what would have been considered a "high-boy." It stands about 6'4" at top of cab - factory height and factory size wheels/tires. It does fit in my standard 2 car garage. Tires have about 3/4 inch of tread - basically they are new. Extra parts - heater fan motor, heater core, heater housing, front marker light assembly, old carb that worked when taken off, original radio, new oil pan gasket. Brakes and steering are manual. Comes with an owners manual and the 500+ page Ford mechanics manual/cd-rom. Truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. I cannot verify yes/no, but added a picture from a book titled FORD F-100/F-150 PICKUP 1953-1996 by Robert Ackerson. The picture shows a 1964 4x4 with the exact bed on my truck. The pictures and information on various pages of the book lead me to believe it is the original bed.On Dec-16-10 at 06:57:12 PST, seller added the following information: Those are NOT scrape marks on the mufflers. The drive shaft is a good distance from the mufflers. I heavily grease the fittings a couple times a year and that is a spatter of grease from the shaft on the mufflers.
