For your review is a 1968 Mustang Coupe - it is mostly complete, but being sold as a parts car (not driveable). This car originally was painted lime metalic green, had a 289 2V motor, power front disc brakes, power steering, air conditioning and a lower console. The motor was replaced with a 1969 302 2V out of a Ford Fairlane - it has sat for over 10 years and still turns but does not start - it has around 98K Miles. The power front disc brakes have been removed and partially converted to drum brakes - the front brakes will need to be completely restored as it presently contains just the brake drum (no shoes, brake cylinders, etc). The AC unit was completely removed and converted to the basic heater unit. Additional Details: The Good: Power Steering and front suspension intact, all glass and chrome complete, 4 good straight standard 5 bolt pattern steel rims w/original wheelcovers - tires are ok (some of the pics show car with whitewall tires - they have been since been replaced with blackwall ones). The dash pad, instrument cluster, kick pads, door pads and carpet are in nice shape. Passenger and rear seats in ok shape - the original driver seat weld broke and currently a 1971/2/3 Mustang Mach 1 Driver's Seat is being used (will be sold with car) The original driver's seat base and upholstery is included. All Seatbelts/Shoulder Belts included Motor is complete (less the alternator and alternator wire). Has Monte Carlo Bar/Repro HiPo Air Cleaner. Chrome bumpers and "bumperettes" in good condition. Has the larger diameter front brake spindles which use the larger wheel bearings. Back floors in good shape. Has hood with built in turn signals (wiring and turn signal inserts removed) - hood has has surface rust and dent which can be repaired. Starter, C4 Transmission, driveshaft and rear end intact. Clean NJ title. The Bad: No gas tank - because the car sat the fuel in it corroded, so tank was removed. The 2V Carberator is in good shape, however it will need to be rethreaded where the gas line meet the fuel filter (the threads stripped as the fuel filter had to be changed so much because of bad gas tank). Front torque boxes, floor supports and front floors will need to be replaced - has the usual leaky cowl issues. Vinyl top will need to be replaced/removed. Door locks have been removed and drivers side lock mechanism/door handle also removed. Also missing gear shifter. Rear passenger side quarter panel was hit and patched/repaired - it will need to be replaced, drivers side in good condition. Pictures make car look better than it actualy is!
