1974 International Scout II This Scout is in excellent condition. I am the second owner of this vehicle and know its history since new. Most of the truck has either been restored or is new. The odometer shows less than 2000 miles because the gauges were all replaced when the engine was replaced. The original odometer had been not working for a few years, so the exact mileage on the truck is not known. There are not many '74 Scouts that are in this fine of condition. The following is a partial list of the restored or new elements of this vehicle: * Complete paint job - new June of 2010. * Engine - newly replaced International 345 crate short block - less than 2000 miles on it. * Air Conditioning System - new compressor, condenser and hoses. * Tires - Less than 2000 miles since new. * Suspension - new leaf springs June 2010. New balanced drive shaft. * Interior Seats - Newly upholstered. * Interior Carpet - Complete new carpet kit installed along with Dynamat sound and heat dampening material. * Door Panels - New * Gauges - Newly installed complete set of Autometer gauges. * Wiring - Complete set of new Painless Wiring Harness installed. * Audio - In dash Eclipse AM/FM/CD system. * Battery - New Optima Red Top. As evidenced by the photos, there are too many newly replaced or restored aspects of this vehicle to completely list here. This vehicle is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. It runs and drives great. There is no rust or body damage to the truck and it has never been wrecked.
