If you have been looking for a clean, well cared for Toyota Highlander and don't mind a few extra miles if it has been well cared for then you need to take a VERY close look at my 2003 model with 140k miles and lot's of factory extra's. If you are familiar with Toyota's then you know they will run well over 200k miles and then some with very few issues. That is one of the many reasons they are so popular. This Highlander is an Autocheck certified 2-owner Florida vehicle that has been in the Ft.Myers area it's entire life and it shows. There is no rust and even the underside still looks great, you won't see that on a northern vehicle. It was bought new at our local Toyota dealership here in Ft. Myers and traded in at our local Ford dealer by the second owner in this shape. This Highlander also has some classy Factory extra's including chrome wheels, running boards, fender flares and the gold package to name a few. It all adds up to a very atractive Highlander. There is also a roof rack and NO hitch so this Toyota has NOT been pulling anything, which is nice. The exterior looks great with no dents or scrapes except a small dent on the top of the rear hatch, I already touched it up and it is not very noticeable as at all. The original Toyota paint has a nice deep shine and looks great. The tires too are in great shape and help give this Highlander a smooth and quiet ride. The interior is VERY clean with no stains, rips or odors and it is a non-smokers vehicle so it smells nice and fresh inside. It is amazing how clean it is for this many miles, obviously well cared for. Even the driver's seat looks near new! There is seating for five and lot's of storage area in the rear and lot's of room in general. All the power options work great including the air conditioning and CD stereo with cassette that sounds nice. What a pleasure to drive, nice and tight with no shakes or rattles at all. If this vehicle had 60k miles on it you couldn't tell the difference inside or out or in the way it drives. The peppy V-6 runs as smooth and quiet as new and it deliver very good gas mileage as well. The brakes are smooth and the transmission and suspension are all just as a well cared for Toyota should be with no shakes or rattles. The only thing to mention is the "check engine" light is on and it is an oxygen sensor, a $150 fix if you care to fix it, it runs perfect just the way it is though. Once you see and take it for a spin around the block you're sure to fall in love and being a true rust free, accident free Florida Toyota in this shape you will be in love for years to come. I have the factory books and two keys with remotes. I have great feedback so you can be sure that this vehicle will be just as nice as I am stating. Payment will be made by cashiers check, money order or wire transfer. A $300 deposit is required on all vehicles and is non-refundable. Florida residents must include 6% sales tax. According to Florida law, if an out of state purchaser takes delivery of a vehicle in the state of Florida I am obligated as a licensed dealer to collect sales tax at a rate equal to the purchasers state sales tax and not to exceed 6%. The purchaser will then be given a notarized reciept proving tax paid to present to their tax collectors office for sales tax credit and will NOT be charged twice. Any additional fees or taxes will be the responsibility of the purchaser. This does not apply to vehicles shipped out of state, only ones picked up in Florida. There is NO sales tax collected for out of the country purchases. Buyer assumes the cost of shipping.
