1968 AMX. 390 automatic. Power disc brakes. Power steering. Air cond. Go pack. I just bought this car last week and was going to cut it up and build a Pro Touring car. It is so rust free that I hate to cut it up. It has a 343 and automatic in the car that does not run. I have a 390 and another automatic that DOES go with the car. Casting number on the block is 3190806. Heads are 3188558-2. All the glass is excellant and the only rust is in the driver side floor and behind the rear wheels on the lower quarters. Backside of the quarter is rust free. Car has been sitting since 1987. Was going to wash it to get the dirt off but we had a blizzard this weekend and I can't get it outside. This would be a very easy restoration project, I pulled the seats and carpet out and most of the tar paper sound deadening so as to be able to see how good the car really is. Looks like there is some damage to the driver side upper floor. It is pushed in a little. The car was red from the factory. Any questions just ask. My # is 573 999 4038. By the casting numbers it is correct for the car as they check to be 67 or 68 390. But I do not know if it is the factory engine. all the tags are in place and unmolested with factory rivets. All the air cond equip is missing except for the box inside the car. I am pretty sure the dash has never been out of the car and there are no holes cut for gauges or speakers. Rocker panels have no rust. No rust around the back window. I will have a clear Mo title in my name by the end of the auction. I also Have group19 Edelbrock R4B intake with part number AM4485729 that also goes with the car. Any questions feel free to cal at 573 999 4038.
