Hi and thanks for taking a look at this auction. We have a 2000 silver mercury cougar for sale. First off i want to let you know that just last week the car started acting up, so we took it to our mechanic and he installed a new fuel pump, after bringing the car home it still was running a little rough, so we took it back and they diagnosed the car to need catalytic converters. Since we have purchased a new car, we no longer have a need for the cougar and that is why we did not get it fixed. The mechanic did a multi-point inspection report card as recommended by Ford Motor Company and everything is good on the car, it just needs the converters replaced. Our mechanic at Lindquist Ford is willing to let anyone interested in the car to talk to him if they would like. I do want to let you know some of the things we have had done to the car and have receipts. November 23, 2010 new fuel pump, September 3, 2010 we had a new battery put in and it has a 6 year warranty, May 21, 2010 New front brakes, rotors and flex pipe fixed, April 10, 2010 new front tires,Novermber 22, 2009 tune up,January 8, 2009 intake manifold fixed,November 20, 2009 sway bar replaced. The car is a good car with low miles it just needs the converters fixed. The flaws with the car the air does not work that great, it has some scratches on the front and back bumper, It has a small bubbly area on the paint above the back drivers side tire and a picture is included. The back passenger side tire is missing the center cap. Car is drivable, but runs loud and very sluggish.
