Vehicle Detail

My bike comes with a Rebuilt Title, Being relisted because the high bidder couldnt get funds together.... We are all adults here, if you have to ask your mom, your wife or banker with all respect have them bid for you.. Please reframe from bidding until you have the funds, and you are committed to owning a BMW bike... I will hold up my end of the transaction... Call with questions b4 bidding... U and I will both feel better if we have talked. Just back from a adventure trip/rough road trip. Go and check the Trans AM Trail website.. Had a great time on this bike doing the gravel roads of Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas. The bike handles the paved road and with an iron hand, and is a ball on the gravel roads. If you are looking for BMW reliability, engineering and comfort without killing your wallet, I think this bike is a great value. This blue, by many BMW enthusists consider it the most desirable color & best looking bike BMW has produced. I am a pinstriper and I have done some custom pinstriping to cover up some scratches and dings on the tank. It always draws a enthusiastic crowd, The classic DAKAR prince is painted, not a decal. The Bike is a gem to listen to. The transmission shifts perfect. If you have not had an opportunity to ride a BMW GS with its incredible front and rear suspensions I would encourage you to do so.. If you are cruising along and grab a hand full of the leading link ABS front brake, hold on... The bike will come to a amazing controlled stop that I can only compare to ultra high end sports cars. With the BMW suspension there is no diving of the front end as with a conventional bike suspension. Many enthusists turn the ABS off when off roading, I found, I enjoyed the gravel road riding with the ABS on. It was a hoot to fly along and be able to slam on the brakes with out disturbing the gravel... Strictly my prefrence, my buddies like riding without their ABS to be able to slide and set up for turns.. Anyway the choice is your with the flip of a switch with this bike. If you are a Iron Butt rider the 5.6 gallon tank will provide a estimated range of 300 miles. Heated grips DO NOT work... Left grip was ohmed and seems to have a short in it, my guess a bare wire..... Blinkers DO NOT work, diagnosis points to the flasher that is a plug and play item under the seat... Signal Minder, the after market flasher seems to be convinced that it has lost its memory and has offered to reprogram it.. According to the tech I have spoken too. Seem to be really nice folks. Thats it, thats all of the good and the needs mechanical stuff that needs to be fixed... Bid with confidence, the bike rides and looks great. Heres the skinny on the reason for the sale. The next section of the Trans AM Trail is alot of sand.. This bike is a worthy dual sport bike, but it still cant defy the gravity & sand of Nevada and Oklahoma.. I am going to a lighter dual sport bike with ABS. Most likely the BMW 800. Would like to keep two bikes but its just not in the cards. Call with any questions, 270-366-1807. The bike will come with a rebuilt KY title. A minimum $1,000 deposit is due within 48 hrs of the close of bidding. Happy bidding, and remember you cant make memories reading about someone elses... Get out and plan an adventure for yourself.. The bags are not included neither is my beagle.;
