1964 Dodge Dart GT Convertible (a very rare find, dont miss out !) 225 Slant 6 w/ Pushbutton auto Originally Sold thru Bill Breck Dodge here in Tucson. Mild restoration done about 10 yrs ago, then the car was parked for mostly. Factory AC PS and PT too. Motor and trans feel great. This car gets some much attention As Is its crazy. I dont want to sell, but if reserves met it will find a new home for someone else to enjoy. A unmolested survivor ! Reserve Low UNDER $4k !! Interior: nice driver but showing its age in some areas. Bucket seats are a plus, with factory A/C. ACs all there but not charged. Tires old too and getting dry. 14" Optional wheels and Mag Style Hubcaps Radio works and you can hear the PT motor run when you hit the knob, but it may need new hydraulic lines or at the very least, some fluid added. I may try to do that this coming week. For now I manually put the top up and down. Car runs and drives and brakes nice, but carb may need a rebuild and and tune up on the motor soon. Hasnt stopped my from driving it up to the corner market or to the gas station and around town some. SHOWS 49K on the odometer Would be an easy restoration. Drive around as is or restore it to its original glory, or somewhere in between. Car is super solid, doors etc all close well and tight. What you will see in the pics below is: Chrome and Stainless Trim is in amazing shape for its age. Dent on the LF fender, Paint compromised below gas cap from fuel running down it. Ive been all over and Under the car, and have pics to below to prove our claims. Check out ALL the pics below and you can see for yourself. Paint and Interior showing some age. All original sheetmetal / glass all good. Obviously this is not a restored car. A VERY RARE AND HARD TO FIND MOPAR! We really try to have realistic reserves on all of our auctions and want to sell cars, not sit on them for another year. LOTS OF PICS, it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient. This is a great car to restore 100% and would do so nicely. It is an example of a era long gone. Remember: they arent making anymore :) My take is this has been in Az its whole life. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain. The more you go over this car, the cooler it gets ! Check out All the pics and then look for more info AFTER the pics etc. There are over 100, make sure you use the schroll bar on the side to see them all. Convert top currently in bad shape. Car comes with a NEW TOP AND BACK WINDOW (in a box) For an extra $350 I can have it installed for you before car ships out or is picked up. Not alot of these cars where made in About and we all know, not many survived. Esp cars in Arizona, and they dont come up for auction in this original un restored condition very often. If you treat yourself to buying one of our cars, youll never buy a rust bucket again from anyone !! Doing restoration on this type of project is less labor intensive which means overall cost is less too ! With less horrid surprises later on. So there you have it, the pics show very well what to expect. Dont let auctions with little to no pics try to fool you.
