Vehicle Detail
1987 Porsche 944 Turbo This car has just been gone through. It has a I am selling my 944 Turbo that I just picked up last winter. I had a whole bunch of work done to it including adding a boat load of aftermarket performance parts and a bunch of work to make sure that it would in good shape to take on the street and on the track. The car is in nice shape. The exterior needs attention. I did not get that far, but it could use a paint job on it. The interior is in decent shape, but could be better. The drivers seat has a split in it as shown in one of the pictures and the dashboard is cracked in several places. There is a light on the dash showing that there is a trouble code with the airbag. Here is what the car has had added to it and the work that was performed this winter. Performance Parts. K27/6 KKK Turbo Charger Tial 46mm Wastegate with one bar spring in it. MAF setup 18" x 9" wheels all the way around with 255/18 Tires. Fiberglass Header with cut out for intercooler cooling Performance Computer Chips Engine work that was done this winter. Replaced timing and balance shaft belts Replaced Rod Bearings Rebuilt Head Seal kit for front of motor installed Lindsey Racing Oil Pan Baffle Kit Performance Camshaft Probably more things too, but I can not remember them all. Oh yea, new Sony stereo with the bass tube. Sounds great. The engine needs to be tuned. It is running a bit too rich. I bought the car with no more issue that it needing the fuel pump replaced (of course the PO did not know that). Once I got it running I found that it was down on boost. The culprit turned out to be a bad turbo, but I was already down the rabbit hole of having a lot of parts replaced with performance parts. I bought the 996TT you see in the background of the pictures and since have lost interest in the car. Thanks Ed On Dec-03-10 at 03:07:00 PST, seller added the following information: The car is no longer down on boost. The original turbo that had the issue was replaced with the K27 turbo. Now it runs and drives great with the exception of needing to be tuned for the rich condition. Thanks
