1985 Mercedes Benz 300TD-T turbo diesel California car, rust free, low original miles. Ready to be driven anywhere! This classic beauty was garage kept for many years, which is very evident by its appearance and overall condition. The body is straight and dent free. The paint looks great. It shines like new. I cannot claim that it is without any flaws; upon close inspection you will find the occasion pebble chip or other minor imperfection. However the overall impression is excellent. All of the exterior rubber seals, trim, etc are near perfection. The window seals are like new, still soft and supple. The body moldings, chrome bumpers, etc look wonderful. Even the aluminum trim around the windows that typically becomes oxidized and scuffed looks great. The roof racks still have their original crossbars which are a rare find. The tires have lots of remaining tread. The beautiful all original cream interior looks great. You will not find a single hole or tear in the upholstery. The seats are still firm and supportive. It does not look like anyone ever even sat in the backseats. The dashboard is quite possibly the cleanest w123 Mercedes dash I have seen… it doesn’t have a single crack… this is a rare find! The headliner is like the day the car rolled off the showroom floor! The engine compartment is exceptionally clean and dry. The undercarriage still has much of it’s cosmoline undercoating. The original spare in the trunk appears to be unused.. Mechanically, this Mercedes Benz 300TD runs and drives great! The engine starts right up, even on cold mornings. It idles and runs smooth and has great power.!!! All accessories and controls function… including the power windows, door locks, power sunroof power antenna, gauges, etc. The air conditioning works well and blow ice cold! This is a solid car!
