Vehicle Detail

This auction is for a 1964 Honda C102 Super Cub 50 Deluxe motorcycle. I bought it in 2005. It ran when I picked it up. It has been sitting and I really don't want to get it running before auction end. For that reason it is "buy as is". You can tell by kicking it over it has good compression and, like I said, the previous owner drove it around his yard prior to me buying it. Shifts fine. No broken engine fins or cracked/damaged engine cases. I think the electric start works but for reason of this sale consider it not working in case buyer finds it doesn't...it is on engine and screws show that it has never been removed. Those are some of the things I look for when buying a bike. I have about $100.00 worth of new parts I bought on ebay including: 2 - 40 tooth rear sprockets 1 - 15 tooth front sprocket 2 - Condensers 1 - Set Points 1 - Complete carb rebuild kit 2 - Clutch discs (it takes two) Also included is an extra front signal lens. Someone painted the bottom engine and rims black. Probably protected the engine covers but rims are rough. Since I bought this C102 there is alot of Taiwan parts available fairly cheap. None of the wheel assemblies complete were available. Now there is new plastic body parts available as well as numerous other "Taiwan reproduction" parts. I know on the early Triumphs I do...if it wasn't for the Taiwan parts a Triumph restoration these days would be unbelievably high using original British parts. No title....bill of sale available. As you can see by my background pictures I have plenty to keep me busy. I am only letting this go as I won't get to it for a few years and can use the money from this nice old Honda to get a couple of my 1950's era Triumph Tiger Cubs on the road. The C102 has good compression when you kick it. Someone put a lever type switch on side cover. Seat looks original...has small tear on top. Chain enclosure is very good. I believe the mileage is original as carb is original and works fine. Plastic cowling has no cracks which is rare. I think someone took pretty good care of this almost 50 year old bike. Suspension is very good. I have a reasonable buy it now price. Important notice : Whether someone buys it through "buy it now" or auction end....Immediate PayPal payment for entire amount due. I paid $580.00 for bike 5 years ago and paid $100.00 for included new parts so the buy it now of $880.00 seems reasonable. It is an early 1964 built bike. Built either in January or February of that year by "B" designation. I also have a 1970 CT90 Honda that's about 80% complete but needs restored. BUYER of C102 can see if interested when picking up the C102. I also have a 1971 Honda Mini-Trail and other Hondas and Honda parts. PLEASE do not inquire about other bikes through this ad as they are not being listed in near future. I will not answer any questions on other bikes. I will let C102 buyer possibly buy other bikes/parts/items. If buyer wants I am willing to store bike for up to 6 months free of charge (after 6 months $20/mo.) or I will crate it for $80.00 if buyer contacts shipping agent and pays those fees himself. Otherwise...Honda is to be picked up in Youngstown, OH which is midway between Pittsburgh and Cleveland. If you have any questions email me at FREASE120@AOL.com .
