1983 Mustang GT Hatch 5.0 w/ 5spd upgrade NICE RUST FREE UNMOLESTED AZ CAR (originally a 4 spd car) This car barely has surface rust on it, you wont find a rust hole anywhere under this MUSTANG. The factory carb was replaced with a correct bolt on HOLLEY 4v. A world class 5 spd TAKE OUT Set up was bought from BOB BONDURANT SCHOOL of Driving several years ago in like new condition and installed in this car. Hurst shifter handle is a handle modded from an early Mustang but looks good. AC WORKS. Interior has the typical AZ SUN FADE 150k miles if not more, but you wouldnt know it by looking at the car. Most of the paint is still factory and with some buffing out would look pretty nice. Loaded with other factory options too like AC, PS, Sunroof, Stereo, PW and more. Again, while most of these cars got beat up and hammered on in the 80s and 90s This car was tastefully UPGRADED and adult driven for the last 25 yrs. In the last year, the car was parked for most of the time, so it will probably need a carb rebuild and tune up very soon. Windows all work well and all the glass is good. FOLD DOWN BACK SEAT and Cargo Cover still there. Hood got some typical dents from people pushing on it to close it So Im throwing in a nice factory rust / dent free used 84 Hood. Car also comes with some rear window louvers (not installed). Original TRW Metric wheels will need tires soon. RUNS / SHIFTS And drives great but motor is getting tired, noticed some blue smoke after it warms up etc. Could be old gas, but probably will need a mild rebuild soon. ORIGINAL MATCHING #s MOTOR and REAREND still in car. LOTS OF PICS, it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient. This is a great car that could be restored but it is an example of a era long gone. Remember: they arent making anymore :) My take is this has been in Az its whole life. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain. The more you go over this car, the cooler it gets !
