1972 Triumph Stag, Mark I Convertible Automatic Transmission, V8 Engine Basic Info This car is a solid original rust-free example! Color is Pimento Red with a original black vinyl interior in superb condition. Wheels are factory chrome originals with brand new tires. The hardtop is a factory matching color, also in Pimento Red and came original with the car. It has a NEW convertible top and Tonneau cover with wind deflector. The engine has been meticulously rebuilt and is the original Triumph V8. This car has also been fitted with a new 3.45: 1 differential. Stainless steel exhaust has been added recently and is in excellent condition. Please take a look at the photos for the listing for up-close shots of interior and paint condition. Paint is original, so there are minor imperfections. Service History/Receipts Owner has service history going back to the late '80's, including receipts and parts history for the rebuilt engine and transmission. Also included in the sale will be all of the shop manuals you would need to do any repairs to the car. Owner History The current owner purchased this car about 5 years ago and since then has spent many hours taking car of this wonderful machine. No expense was spared, and with a new convertible top, this would be a fantastic vehicle for any classic car lover or collector.
