For one thing, it’s quick. Mitsubishi promised a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 5.6 seconds. More surprising, the car is so stable and quiet that speed becomes deceptive. It’s 4 wheel steering and all-wheel drive blend for a secure, precise cornering. Brakes are great too, bring the VR-4 to a halt with reassuring swiftness and terrific poise. I am selling this car for a friend. He has owned it since it had approximately 30k miles. I have service records back to then. Also included with the sale are the original alloy wheels. SPECIFICATIONS:3.0 Liter V-6 Twin Turbo with fuel injection rated at 300 HP, 307 FT LBS torque, front engine all-wheel drive, 5 speed manual transmission, front disc brakes, rear disc brakes, fuel capacity 20 gallons, EPA economy 19 mpg city, 25 mpg highway. FEATURES:Power windows, power locks, power seat, air conditioning, AM/FM/Cass CD changer, leather interior, sunroof, active aero wing and chrome wheels. VEHICLE CONDTION: INTERIOR: The interior is clean. The seats are firm and comfortable. The front seat side bolsters are worn on both sides, more on the driver’s side (see pic). The sun visors are discolored from age. The steering wheel is worn and there are several small cuts on the interior trim. EXTERIOR: The body and paint are good. The paint shines nice. There is a dent on the passenger side quarter panel (see pic). The paint is not scratched, and I thing a good dent doctor can make this look good without painting it. There are several small scuffs on the front bumper that can be touched up. There is also a 2-3 inch scratch on the passenger door that can be touched up (see pic). On the hood are 2 dings that should be able to be removed by a good dent doctor. The last flaw on this car is a dime size chip on the drivers door (see pic). EXTERIOR TRIM: All trim is intact with normal wear and tear for this vintage vehicle. GAUGES/INSTRUMENTS: All gauges and instruments are working as they should. The ABS light comes on periodically. The A/C blows cool, not cold. EXTERIOR LIGHTS: All lights are in good working order. ENGINE/DRIVE TRAIN: The engine starts easily, idles normally, accelerates nicely and has no unusual noises or vibrations. The transmission operates smoothly with no problems evident. The only issue is if you leave the car idle for a long time, it loads up and when you rev the engine it clears out, but smokes a little. TIRES: The tires are almost brand new. BRAKES: The brakes are quiet, stop smoothly with no swerving or diving. The pedal feel and response are normal and the parking brake works as expected. UNDERHOOD: All fluid levels are up to specification. TERMS OF SALE:A $500 deposit within 3 days of auction end and balance to be paid within 5 business days. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, cashier’s check or bank check only! Buyer will arrange, pay for, and have the car shipped within 30 days of close of auction.
