· I spent 2 years getting this bike perfect for fast cornering, so now it’s time to sell her! I am 52 years old and have owned them all, but this one is too much for me to justify keeping. I have used it for almost everything including sports touring, commuting to work and round trip Portland to San Francisco. It has NEVER been scratched, abused, dropped, banged…nothing. The only thing to report is when I forgot the disk lock on the front right disk, and momentarily rolled the bike backwards. You can see the photo where the lock punched out a small part out of the front fender. I am a perfectionist but I never bothered to replace the fender because it doesn’t affect performance or looks. · The main weakness of the Hayabusa has always been brakes. Since there is no need to spend time/money making the new generation Hayabusa go faster, I invested in making her go round corners better and stopping faster, and with more feel at the lever. The OEM calipers are pretty good, and the disks OK, but the master cylinder and rubber hoses are terrible, so that’s where I focused. · Improvements include o Brembo RCS 19x18/20 adjustable race grade radial Master Cylinder o Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tires front and back. 2000 miles since install. Still perfect round profile with lots of tread (see photos) o Yoshimura carbon fiber exhaust canister’s o Spiegler custom stainless steel brake hoses o Motul RBF 600 Dot 4 racing brake fluid o Race shop adjusted OEM suspension for 225lb/6’3” rider for sport riding o Carbone Lorraine SBK5 front and RX3 rear street/track brake pads o Zero Gravity Double Bubble light smoke windshield o Navigation mount plate for steering stem mounting o Kawasaki ZX1400 mirrors. These are the best mirrors for fast sports bikes, period · All receipts from new onwards available plus all original OEM equipment including the OEM exhaust canister’s. (see photo). Rear paddock stand and touring tank/tail bags are not included.
