1985 Honda CR

This auction is for a 1985 Honda CR250 dirtbike. I originally purchased it from a gentleman in Illinois about a year and a half ago. Since then, I have completely refurbished the bike. The piston was replaced immediately prior to my purchasing the bike. All the seals are new within the past year. The monoshock was rebuilt. All bearings were replaced within the past year. The front and rear brakes are new. The engine runs great. The reeds were replaced. The sprockets and chain are new. Although it was repainted (with the exception of the gas tank) there are a few battle scars because I have been riding. The decals on the picture say 500 because they were the only ones I could find at the time, but the bike is a 250. The seat is in great condition. The bike is amazing and feels as though it just came from the factory. I am selling it because I am leaving the military and going back to school. I have accumulated enough spare parts to almost build a second bike. I will hold off selling the parts to give the purchaser a chance to see if he/she wants to purchase any of them first. It would be nice to see this bike go to someone who is into collecting/riding vintage bikes. I would hate to see it parted out. Any questions, feel free to ask.
