Solid running and roadworthy/ needs paint and some body work I have owned the truck for 12 years. Not sure of the history, but I know of only one other owner. Had the engine rebuilt and re-installed it to good working order. It mostly sits now-- I've had my fun with it. Now it's your turn to bring it to cherry! It won't take much. Original Rebuilt Flathead V8 Engine with <2,000 miles on it. Engine in good working order. All stock (including original keys) except for 12 volt electrical system conversion, and electric fuel pump (original fuel pump still installed but bypassed). Double clutch manual transmission. 1st gear is a granny gear. I used to drive it short distances every day to work. It runs very reliably, and fires right up even after sitting for long periods. Body is all original metal with minor rust and dents here and there (see photos). Radial stone crack in windshield. Plywood piece covers the original slatted wood pickup bed, which is in poor shape. Radial tires in good shape-- lots of tread. Other mechanical issues: electrical leak (I keep the battery unhooked if I don't plan on driving it for a while. Very slow differential leak- no drips, just outer buildup. There is a little play in the steering. The engine runs very hot, which is typical for flatheads, but I wouldn't recommend driving it long distances unless you get a specialty antifreeze. The brakes get soft if it sits for a long time. Mileage is a guess as the odometer does not work -- 22500? Vin#: F1R2KC21790 $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of the close of the auction. The remaining amount is due within 7 days from the auction's close. Please send cashier's check or money order via FedEx or UPS so that I have to sign for it. I will then send the Title and Bill of Sale in the same manner. This way we both have record to documents received. I also accept cash in person. Buyer responsible for pick up/ shipping.
