Vehicle Detail
For sale is my 1967 Ford F100 project truck. I got it on a trade, and have too many projects so I'm trying to liquidate a few. Heres the rundown on this one. The truck is a 1967 F100 custom. It is a 1 year model and is very desirable. It has the cleanest body I have ever seen on a Pickup out here. It is the original paint on it so there is NO BONDO anywhere, and almost NO RUST! The only rust is a spot the size of a half dollar on the bed (a simple fix) and a spot the size of a quarter at the back of each front fender. Those three rust spots are all on a perfectly flat piece of steel making the patchwork a breeze to complete. The truck has no rust on the frame, and any supports, or even the floors. Minor surface rust exists under the car but nothing serious. I cant seem to find a single dent anywhere in the truck. Its weird! The interior is in excellent condition. It has the original seat completely restored with new foam hog rings and all new vinyl. It is the original style and original black color. It to be armor-all cleaned (kansas wind gets that dust everywhere). The dash is in great condition. The floors are all solid. It needs a carpet and a headliner. It comes with a cassette deck and some 6x9 speakers. The truck has some chrome american racing wheels on it with off-brand tires. They have about 40% tread on them. They work great for a roller but they wont last more than 5,000 miles or so on the road. Both bumpers are super straight and are the original painted white finish from the factory. The grill and headlight buckets are the original white finish and are free of dents as well. The drivetrain consists of a Ford 9" rear end with 3.50 gears. I believe it is open and not a posi-trak. There is a C6 transmission that has a FE-block bolt-pattern bell-housing on it. It would bolt up to any FE motor (352 360 390 merc 410 etc.) There is no motor in it currently. The original 390 locked up and was pulled by the previous owner. It has power steering swapped into if from a 1978 Ford F100. It has a 1 year old power steering pump under the hood, and a 1 year old alternator there too. It also comes with FE block headers, a bed mounted tool-box and several new parts that are just sitting on the floor of the cab. Overall this is an EXCELLENT project truck, I just have too many other projects and too little cash to complete it. I hate to get rid of this one, but diesel is getting expensive on my daily, and I have 3 other project vehicles. Please take this beauty to a new home! My loss is your gain! I believe the starting bid with no reserve is a reasonable price because parted out this truck is worth well over $2500. I would hate to do that to this truck so please take it off my hands! I have a clean title for the truck. It is located in McPherson KS and can be seen at your availability. Please call Pat at 908 872 7575 with any questions you might have. Thank you!
