1983 Honda Nighthawk

I have a 1983 all orginal 550 Honda Nighthawk with only 4122 actual orginal miles. Bike is completely stock and is in very good condition. I am only the second owner and I have owned this bike for about ten years. Has been recently tuned up including rebuilding carbs. Smooth running and riding. Shifts easily and accurately. You will not find a bike this old with only 4000 miles. Nice black paint. Seat is good, all lights work. Clutch is good, tires are also good. Now the bad very slight surface rust. Slight. The only real problem is the battery will not stay charged. I put in a new battery and after a while it will go dead. Don't know why. Thats the only problem with the whole bike. I'm selling this for my neighbor and I pretty much know all about this bike but if you have a question and I don't know the answer, I can find out. Thank youOn Nov-09-10 at 10:41:49 PST, seller added the following information: Need to add this, while looking at this title to this cycly, it shows that bike had only 2000 miles on it when I bpought it. Now the cycly has 4122 all orginal miles, but the title show incorrect milage, so I went to the licenses branch today to find out why. The answer is in 1983 the titles didn't show milage so when it was changed to me it was titled incorrect milage. This can be corrected with just a little work since there has only been one owner besides me. Sorry for the mix up. The bike does only have 4122 ORGINAL MILES ON IT. It has safety manuals and owners manuals. Other paper work some showing service records. accessories added, original stock tag number and ect.
