1961 Ford Falcon Sedan, 170 CID six cylinder engine, 2 - Speedomatic (auto) transmission. This a classic that runs very well. It starts and drives very well. Does not have power steering or power brakes. The body is solid, the paint is OK. New chrome bumpers, all body trim is in good shape, passenger door sticks sometimes, door handle chrome is pitted, grill is OK. Previous owner painted it himself and I think it needs a good block wet sanding, some minor ding repairs, final coat of paint and it will be beautiful. The interior is in great shape other than some pitting on chrome. I replaced dash knobs, the seats are original, no tears or holes, carpet is new, very clean overall. Electrically, all works except the radio. The speedometer works sometimes but is not accurate, gas gage works but not reliable, temp gage works, dash lights work. Exterior lights all work fine, wipers are slow- it's a 6 volt system and as engine speed increases so does electrical. Blinkers work but I broke the blinker lever. Needs new heater plenum but heater works very well. It's a fun little car and could be a local daily driver as is, or completed as a period classic. I believe all to be original. Things I've fixed or replaced: New tires and alignment, new front seat shoulder harness seat belts, dashboard knobs, rebuilt front wheel drum brakes and cylinders. If I wanted to make the car perfect I would fix: blinker lever, radio and antenna, paint. I am not a dealer or "selling for a friend" this my car and is CA titled to me.
