Vehicle Detail

1971 Pontiac Grand Prix Model J" clear title, not inspected but doesn't need a whole lot to be inspected, i got this car back in 2000, it was originally from north carolina and comes with the sales voucher from when it was sold brand new back in 1971 from harry pontiac cadillac inc of asheville nc which includes the original bill of sale - the window price sticker - build sheet - manuals - etc, the original color of this car was bronzini gold, the body is currently primered grey which was done a few years ago and has been stored in my garage ever since, the engine runs strong and is a 430 big block with only 64,000 original miles - it has 360 stock factory horse power and was originally out of a 1969 wildcat, the transmission works great and is a 400 turbo automatic, 4 barrel edelbrock carburetor, 10 bolt rear end, there is a new 4 core radiator installed, aluminumized dual exhaust, 4 raised white letter radial tires mounted on the factory pontiac 14" ralley II wheels, the interior is black & white and is in decent shape for going on 40 years old, the chrome is pretty decent, the front bumper looks very good and includes the lower grill which is not pictured, the rear bumper is dull & faded and will need to be rechromed or replaced, the frame - floor pans - trunk floor are solid, the engine compartment doesn't look bad but could use a good cleaning and some new paint, the shifter is currently on the column but i have a nice original GP floor shift console complete with the shifter & linkage which is presently not installed but is included, the front coil springs are very weak and will need to be replaced, a couple front end components will also need to be replaced for inspection plus one of the brake lines will need to be fixed as well which the car cannot be driven and will have to be towed, a $500.00 deposit is required within 48 hours through paypal and then the remaining balance is due within 7 days paid in cash, the buyer is entirely responsible of making any and all arrangements for picking up the vehicle or having it transported etc, selling as is, cash only no trades, great project car for restoring, very rare, bidding starts at $2,350.00 no reserve. (( SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE )) Any Questions Or For Driving Directions Feel Free To Contact Me. The G.P. Can Be Seen In Nanty Glo, PA. On Nov-10-10 at 15:47:07 PST, seller added the following information: The link below will take you to my to photobucket page for the same images that are shown here in ebay plus a couple new ones that i just added of the interior & trunk area. just click on the picture in the album that you want to view and then click on it again to enlarge it. the trunk is solid with only some light surface rust. the wood grain dash bezel piece that fits in where the radio goes is in the glove box and isn't cut up or anything. the rear seat bottom is split on the seam. there are a couple small holes in the roof liner. the front interior door panels look good but are warped a little. the rear interior quarter trim panels also look good but are white which either the front or rear panels could always be changed or even dyed with vinyl color to match. http://s572.photobucket.com/albums/ss165/internetjunkie4life/71%20GP/
