VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: Up for auction is a 1997 Ford F250 Heavy Duty Work truck with a Utility Body. If you are looking for an inexpensive work truck, you have found it. If you are looking for a pretty truck with no flaws, keep looking. This is a WORK TRUCK. It is already scratched and dented and it is ready to work a lot more. There is no reserve, so bid to own it! SPECIFICATIONS: 5.8 Liter V-8 with sequential port fuel injection rated at 210 HP @ 3600 RPM, front engine four wheel drive, automatic with overdrive transmission, front disc brakes, rear drum brakes FEATURES: 4x4, automatic transmission, air conditioning, AM/FM/CD stereo, vinyl and cloth interior, tow package and alloy wheels. VEHICLE CONDTION: INTERIOR: The interior is clean. The seats are firm and comfortable. There is a rip on the bottom of the drivers seat. The dash, door panels, carpets and sun visors are in good shape. Remember it‘s a work truck. EXTERIOR: There are minor dents and scratches around the truck and bed. Nothing major. Remember it’s a work truck. EXTERIOR TRIM: All trim is intact with normal wear and tear for this vintage vehicle. GAUGES/INSTRUMENTS: All gauges and instruments are working as they should. The radio turns on, but no sound comes out. EXTERIOR LIGHTS: All lights are in good working order. ENGINE/DRIVE TRAIN: The engine starts easily, idles normally and accelerates nicely. I do hear a slight exhaust leak at idle. The transmission operates smoothly with no problems evident. When driving down the road, the steering is loose. Our shop has checked it out and the truck needs both upper ball joints. There also appears to be an oil leak. It drips when the truck is running. TIRES: The tires have approximately 25% tread remaining. BRAKES: The brakes are quiet, stop smoothly with no swerving or diving. The pedal feel and response are normal and the parking brake works as expected. UNDERHOOD: All fluid levels are up to specification. TERMS OF SALE: A $250 deposit within 3 days of auction end and balance to be paid within 5 business days. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, cashiers check or bank check only! Buyer will arrange, pay for, and have the car shipped within 30 days of close of auction. We will be glad to help with transportation. This vehicle is being sold AS IS, no warranty. NJ residents will be required to pay 7% NJ sales tax. There is a $100 documentation fee. Temporary tags are available for $3 if you pick the car up and want to drive it home.
