Vehicle Detail
That is original Mileage. This truck was purchased from an estate owner that used it on his farm here to make weekly runs to the landfill. The only rust on the truck is on the filler panel between the step and rocker panel on the passenger side. This truck is in immaculate condition. I bought it a little over two years ago thinking I'd use it in my side business. I didn't. All it's done for me is I use it a couple times in the fall for hauling logs for firewood. Just threw Farm Tags on it when I did. I can't justify keeping it with that kind of use. It is a waste for the truck, and I can use the space. It has 370 gas V8 engine. 5 speed Transmission 2 speed Axle Brakes are Hydra Boost over Hydraulic, not air Rear wheel cylinders and Master Cylinder were rebuilt when I bought it Pass side Exhaust manifold was replaced. PTO pump and hydraulic Dump Bed with wooden side boards and tailgate Wind up bed cover tarp Heavy Duty Hitch and 7 flat pin trailer plug From the build sheet, photos attached No rust on frame, etc.. Interior is great, other than a little dust from me. Some cracks in the floor mat at the drivers heel. Seat, dash are great. It could use a carb rebuild. I had to work a bit to get it started this morning in the cold. It is manual choke, Holley type Ford carb. It will backfire on decel on occasion. Friend tells me that's a bad "power valve"..? The fuel gauge doesn't work. ...and when I went to diagnose it I pulled the gauge cluster to check the wiring and somehow broke the odo...the speedo works but the odo no longer moves. I just use a yardstick to check fuel now. I set the reserve at $2500. Reason is I can give it away here locally for more than that, without the hassle of ebay. If full payment is to be made via Paypal, you'll need to add 3% if a credit card is used. It is for sale locally as well so auction may end early. I will hold off on a local sale if bids reach reserve before I get a local offer. Questions, feel free to call me. 434.987.39 eight three On Nov-08-10 at 11:53:06 PST, seller added the following information: Bidders with few, or no feedback need to contact me prior to bidding.
