Up for bidding is this 1955 GMC cab over engine truck. straight 6 cylinder engine with a 4 speed manual transmission and a two speed differential. This truck is rated for a combined weight of 30,000 lbs. This is a working running vehical but would need to be serviced as you would expect for any Vehical that had only been used a few times in the last 35 years. I don't know if the mileage has gone around once or not but the truck ran great and didn't smoke at all when I drove it to San Jose. The truck needs a muffler, only part of it is there. The body is in really good shape with just some light surface rust in some areas. Side mirrors goes with the truck but there not mounted anymore, and there is a rear bumper that also has been removed but it goes with the truck. there is no spare tire but there is a place for it in the rear. What you see is what you get. there are two fuel tanks on the truck one behind the seat and a 40 gallon tank on the side which needs to be hooked up to be used. Behind the cab is 16 feet of frame that can be used for what ever purpose you want. there is a BB hole on the driver side window, no radio or horn button It was last licensed in 1983 by the previous owner, I never got it registered because I only wanted it for storage, that was when it had a box on it which has been removed. There is now a California lien sale package on this truck so it can be registered with the DMV. The truck could use some tires and they might need replacing before the vehical is moved, there is a used tire seller within a block of its location. Local pickup in San Jose, California. There is a Storage fee of $50 a month after the sale if you can't pick it up right away and that will be your responsibility to pay if it sits at this location. This truck was originally a moving van and capable of moving heavy loads with it's switchable 2 speed, rearend. The switch for changing gears in the rear is on the shifter knob.
