Vehicle Detail

This is a great little car! If you've been looking for a clean, reliable safe vehicle with classic style, you've found it! The pictures speak for the condition of the vehicle. It's from the dry desert of Arizona so there's no rust issues. It has been repainted and while not a custom show quality paint job it does look great & gets many compliments. The vehicle is mechanically sound, having many new items repaired or replaced within the last year, including: new battery, new front muffler, new motor mounts, new driveshaft center support rubber, new front brakes, new tailgate wiring harnesses and lift supports, new belts, new timing belt, new fuel pumps a complete tune-upand oil change. These are all regular maintenance items or common Volvo problems, nothing out of the ordinary. The tires, shocks, suspension, etc. are all in good shape. The A/C has been converted to the new freon and blows cold, even here in the desert. It passed the emissions test easily As far as I can tell, everything works as it should, with only a few exceptions: the dome light doesn't work, the clock stopped and the key buzzer doesn't buzz. The hubcaps are missing. The car originally had a third seat but someone removed it. The seat belts and catch are there, so you could just pick up a used seat and bolt it right in. The front upholstery was worn so I installed sheepskin seat covers. The rear seat armrest has a small hole in it, but that could be easily repaired. There is a crack in the dashboeard, but the dash cover hides it nicely. The windows had window tint film applied and there are some scrapes & defects in the tint on a couple of windows. I never had it repaired because it's pretty minor. These are all small things, but I want you to know what you're buying. Overall, the car is in really great condition for such a classic. It runs & drives great, the tires have good tread, the brakes are good, the heater, A/C, etc. all work good and the car looks great! It appears that the car was never smoked in. It's fun to drive-you can pop one of your old cassettes in the deck (original factory gray face-with Dolby!) and cruise just like you did back in the day when you borrowed the car from your Mom! I'd keep it but we've got to downsize. You can drive it home, or I will work with your shipper (which you arrange) AFTER THE FUNDS CLEAR MY BANK! I can take credit cards through my business, or PAYPAL. Remember, you're bidding to purchase, not to get a chance to look, so ask your questions first. While this is a nice car, it is a used car. I've tried to describe it accurately but I would encourage you to view it in person if possible before you bid to purchase it. I'd be happy to show it to you here in Tucson.
