For Sale by owner1972 AMC Javelin SST I purchased this car 3 years ago. I have rebuilt the motor, had the transmission rebuilt, new carborator, headers, new points distributor, chrome alternator, fuel pump, had the starter rebuilt, rebuilt the clutch disk, fly wheel pressure plate was reground, had 4 wheel disc brakes. All discs were turned, new brake pads, wheel cylinders, wheel bearings installed. The car was painted with Trans Am Red D7. Paid $3000 for the paint job (looks like an amatuer painted it, but still looks nice), the rear quarters were replaced. The rest of the car is very solid and floor pans very solid. Has new carpet and headliner. The 2 front seats need to be covered. 98,000 original miles. I put lots of time and money into this car and want someone to appreciate the car and take good care of it. It can be inspected at any given time. Can be stored for up to 6 months for $25 a month or whenever you want to pick it up. Car is about 85% restored. Good luck bidding.
