Thanks for looking at my listing for my Restored 1958 BMW Isetta 300. The Isetta is part of my collection of classic cars, motorcycles and scooters located in Southern California. I will be downsizing my collection within the next few months so here is your chance to own a beautiful restored Isetta. The Isetta is registered in my name and the registration is paid till February 2011. The Isetta can be shipped worldwide at the buyers expense. It can be shipped door to door domestically at the buyers expense as well. There are lots of great shipping companies out there. VIN # 10471 I have posted lots of pictures with the listing so you can get a great idea of the Isettas condition and also see it's interesting features. The Isetta is definitely a looker. The Isetta was restored about three years ago by the previous owner. It is in excellent condition. I did have the paint wet sanded by a very famous body shop in my area. The wet sanding really brought out the finish and was worth every penny. The shade of yellow is a color used on early model Isettas. The previous owner explained to me that he saw a Isetta painted this color in a German Magazine and honestly it is one of the best colors I have seen on a Isetta. It is two tone as you can see in the pictures and there is some pin striping that was added in silver which really makes the car look stunning. The paint has great shine. There are a few minor nicks but nothing major. This is a excellent running Isetta. I installed a NEW battery about 5 months ago. It starts easily. Idles great. Has lots of power. The engine was rebuilt. It has been driven less then 200 miles on it's rebuild. It has the larger 298cc motor. All glass on the Isetta is original. There are a few scratches on the glass but nothing major. Window rubber is in great condition. Front and rear bumpers were newly chromed. New Chrome headlight rings. All the electrics work great. Lucas pig ears side signals. Lucas tail light lenses and front glass lenses. Made in England. Brake light switch and signal light switch are New Old Stock. NEW Radial Kumho Power Star 758 tires were installed less then 200 miles ago. They are in new condition. The tire size is 145/80R10. The previous owner made custom spacers for the wider tires. I really like the look of the bigger tires on a Isetta. They fill in the wheel wells better and are safer. The chassis was powder coated. I took a few pictures underneath the car and you can see that it is very clean and detailed. The interior is in excellent condition. Beautiful gray color. Carpet, panels and seat all in excellent condition. Interesting Isetta decals are in place. Original Made in Great Britain Vin # Plate on car as shown in one of the pictures. Rear U.S. license plate bracket. English period correct license plate in the front. Nice touch. Canvas convertible top in excellent condition. The Isetta has a rare SMITHS speedometer found on British Isettas. It does need a speedometer cable. I have listed this Isetta with a very reasonable buy it now price and also the option to accept reasonable offers. The Isetta is Sold As Is with No Warranties.
