This 2005 VW Passat TDI has been a great vehicle. I need a bigger car to tote my granddaughter around, so sadly the VW has to go. The car has always been regularly serviced at a VW dealer, first where I purchased it (Antwerpen Volkswagen in Pasadena MD) and then locally after I moved (Ourisman VW in Lauel MD). The last service included the timing belt and water pump replacement, so mechanically it is in great condition. The car gets MPG fuel economy in the 30s combined and in the low 40s on the highway. The car was originally put into service on May 13, 2005, so it is in used, but very good condition. Overall, the paint and finish are very good. The pictures show that the car still looks very good. The grey leather interior is in very good condition with only normal, light wear. There are the normal nick, dings, scratches, etc for a 5 1/2 year old car. The most noticable ding is a small quarter sized dent in the hood. I attempted to take pictures of it so you can get an idea of how big it is, but the pics don't show the ding too well. I have the original floor mats, they were replaced with the rubber ones you see in the pictures. They will go with the car. The car will need a windshield, but I expect to have a new one installed (or the chips repaired) before auction ends. The tires are shown in the pictures, I believe they will pass MD inspection, but they probably will need to be replaced before bad weather arrives. There is no warranty. Payment is by cash, or with a cashiers check that has cleared. A $200 non-refundable deposit through Paypal is required within 48 hours of auction ends. Full Payment is required within 7 calendar days from auction end, and the car must be picked up in Laurel, MD within two weeks of auction closing. I have sold a few vehicles on ebay, and have always agreed that if the vehicle is not as described upon inspection during pick-up, the buyer may simply walk away without any obligation besides the deposit. However, the final auction price will not be reduced under any circumstances.
