1956 Studebaker 1/2 ton long bed pick-up truck with great potential. This could become a beautiful and unique truck, original or modified. In my opinion this is a nicely designed vehicle with an attractive lines and fine grille. By 1956 Studebaker had a 12 volt system which means accessories can be easily added. The truck is well used but mostly there. Good visibility with one - piece windshield. and large rear window.I have some parts that go with truck such as new window to replace cracked drivers side. Also new set of parking light lenses. Studebaker was also offering optional V-8 engines as this one has. Most parts needed are available. It needs the windshield replaced as it is cracked. Also needs a radiator - look for 1970's Dodge van. Cab corners and door inside steps need replacement patches and steel bed has a small rust out near front of bed. Engine has not been started up and running condition unknown. . Has truck floor trans. The original headliner needs to be glued back together (perf cardboard) . Has original dash pad which is rare to find intact. Needs door bottom repairs. Bodywork needed for dents in fenders and top of cab. Rear glass and pass glass is good. Rust at bottom bar of tailgate. Seat needs upholstery. Rear axle is narrow and the bed had wheel arches welded in to bed to accomodate - I think the rear axle is off earlier Studebaker truck or car. Price has been lowered as I would like it to go to new home this year. I have ignition key for the truck.Although Ebay asks for the milage, I have no idea so I put in a real high number. Most parts needed are available: windshield, cab corners, door step panels. The Studebaker Drivers Club and their monthly publication Turning Wheels is the best one-stop source for parts, advice and help. Sorry but I am not interested in any trades - don't offer me any more. Truck and title don't move until payment is secured. Truck needs to be transported within two weeks after auction and payment completion. Thank you for considering this truck.
