Here is your chance to be the only one in town! This is a one off, one of a kind, concept car. I purchased this car going on 2 years ago. My original plan was to finish the car to my liking but have found little to no time to finish. Built by the University Of Savannah GA design department. The chassis is a 1996 Volkswagen GTI and titled that way. 4 cylinder 5 speed manual transmission. The chassis was strengthened with 2 to 2 1/2 inch tubular roll bars as you can see from the pictures. The body is molded fiberglass. The body is quite well built. Equally proportioned on both sides. Not some hack job. The windshield is Lexon. There is a 10 gallon fuel cell under the car. 18 inch custom wheels. The interior is fully carpeted. Two very nice comfortable race style seats. There is a fuel, tachometer, temp and volt guage. The tachometer needs to be wired in and a Speedometer needs to be purchased and wired. Otherwise the car runs, drives and tracks down the road great! The car is totally road legal. LED brake lights, running and turn signals. It could use a little TLC and touch up to make it a true show car. Not much really required. One could easily drive it like it is. You can't drive down the street without people stopping you to talk and ask what kinda car it is. If you want to be the hit of the car show next summer. This is it! People are drawn more to this car than if there was a $30,000 to $50,000 show car parked next to it!!! I kid you not. It's a show stopper! I have no idea how many miles are on the car. I believe the donor car was new when donated to the University. Please ask ALL questions prior to bidding! This is not a buy it now. Ask questions later auction!!
