Thanks for looking at my auction for my rare Restored 1953 Lambretta / Siambretta 125D scooter with only 9,418 original kilometers which is 5,851 original miles. The Lambretta is part of my collection of classic scooters, motorcycles and cars located in Southern California. I have enjoyed owning this Lambretta for seven years and now it's time for somebody else to enjoy it. I can crate and ship this Lambretta to most major cities in the United States for a total shipping cost of $295. I have posted lots of pictures with my listing so you can get a great idea on this rare Lambretta's condition. You will see that it is in excellent condition. I have owned the Lambretta for seven years. I purchased it from a classic car, motorcycle and scooter museum. When I saw it I really had to have it as it is one of the nicest D model Lambretta's I have seen. I have owned several but by far this was the best. It has lots of accessories on it which I really liked. Speedometer, luggage rack, spare tire and it just looked right. If your looking for a rare scooter in incredible shape then you really should consider this Lambretta. The following are things that I felt are important to mention. Frame # 130084 Engine # 3185 SIAM Lambrettas were manufactured in Argentina under license. This makes this very rare here in the States. In Argentina you will find some SIAM 125D's but not in this condition. The 125D went through a full nut and bolt restoration about 10 years ago. Rare METRON Speedometer. Not a common speedometer to see on these vintage D model scooters. Odometer read only 9,418 kilometers or 5,851 original miles. Lots of rare accessories. Chrome Luggage Rack that is completely functional. Fender Protector. Chrome headlight ring. Original Spare Tire holder with spare, hubcap and tire cover. Intact rear storage box and under the seat storage tube. Seats are in excellent condition. Tires are in good condition. Paint looks beautiful and is in real excellent condition. Original color. Floorboard trim and rubber in excellent condition. Engine is fully rebuilt when restored. Has less then 50 miles on it. It will need a tuneup if you plan on using it as a daily driver or weekend fun machine. I had a friend of mine come over and start it for me. It runs strong and the 3 speed transmission works great. I would recommend a full tune-up, carburetor cleaning and you should be good to go. The engine is a 125cc 2 stroke. Dellorto carburetor. Top speed about 47mph. Chrome is in excellent condition.
