Up for auction is a 1947 Ford 2 door sedan. I am selling this for my dad, so any answers will have to come through him, so it might take 24 hours for me to answer any questions. This is a no reserve auction. My dad has a few too many projects and my mom put her foot down so this one has to go. His loss is your gain. The car: This is a great project car, but it is definitely a project car. 1947 Ford sedans are beautiful when they are done, and this is a very inexpensive way to own a piece of American history. There is no motor or transmission, and it is not a rolling chassis. It is on a rolling dolly right now so it is possible to move around the drive way, and it can be put onto a trailer for transport. There are no wheels or tires, and no front seat. I tried to take good pictures of the car and what comes with it, so take a look at the pictures and please ask questions before bidding. As you can see in the pictures, there is some rust where you would expect it, but nothing that can't be fixed. I don't know if shipping would be possible, so I would think that this is local pick-up only, but if you know of a way to ship it and can arrange it, bid away!
