Vehicle Detail
1952 Ford F6 Stake Body Dually w /Original "Flathead" V8 53,604 original miles. > Click here to view 1952 Ford F6 Movie < Ford F-Series First Generation (1948-1952) advertised as “Ford Bonus-Built", replacing Ford's previous car-based line of pickups. This is a "real" truck, a real big, solid truck, one of the biggest Ford made back then. See if your $30,000.00+ RAM whatever is driving around in 58 years! -The legendary Ford “Flathead" V8, 8RT Series (used from `48-`53) 239 ci, 96 hp @ 3400RPM. It was essentially an 8BA or EAB in truck clothing. In F series trucks, a higher lift cam raises the truck HP to106! -Ford, three bolt Holley 94 type carburetor. -Timpte Bros. Inc. Denver, CO grain bed and stock racks. -158” wheelbase -2 Ton -16,000 G.V.W. Presently owned by a Denver, CO based Non-Profit organization who has very consciously invested over $6000.00 in making this a safe & roadworthy Classic, legally titled, registered, safety & mechanically inspected in CO w/Collector tags. Used as a vehicle to transport trees & a large tank (not included in sale) to water them. Some volunteers found this old workhorse too much to handle when it came to driving & navigating through city streets, so it has to go. Mechanically needs nothing, starts, runs & drives very well. Absolutely solid body panels, floorboards & all wood are dry, solid & rot-free. There is the normal surface rust underneath, but no rust-through! Original or at least older paint give it a wonderful patina & character befitting an old truck like this. And just like an old "Heavyweight", his nose has been pushed in a bit. The interior is good w/all gauges, heater, wipers, lights etc. working. Glass is good, door panels, headliner & seat are fair w/rips. A great find for the collector to use for fun/work, parades, hayrides, restore or for the business who wants a unique form of advertising that can also do the job & earn its keep. PLUS, the money goes to a good cause! Owner can assist in driving vehicle to your location within the area, please inquire. v New tires all around - 7.50 X 20 v New wheels all around v Braking system completely rebuilt v New battery – 6 Volt v Safety crash bar in rear v New Exhaust Click on link below for Many More pics at: > http://classicgray.com/sys/display.cgi?detail=194 < Check out my other items!
