I am an Ivy League graduate. I am in my mid-30s. I am a serious fellow, and I've been on the national and local TV news giving unpaid and unsolicited financial market commentary; also been in major national newspapers and magazines doing the same. Most recently, I was quoted in AARP magazine. There is nothing being hidden about this car, as so many people do. You don't get 100% positive feedback over 11 years of registration by hiding things. If there is something you should know about this car of which I am aware, it's available to you in the auction. I go out of my way to make sure people are satisfied. Look at my specific feedback...look how the guy who bought the truck recently said, "You can trust Seth with your eyes closed." I work hard to make sure I get comments like that; I don't take it lightly, and it means a tremendous amount to me. I look forward to getting to know you if you'd like me to (or if you'd like to buy the car without me getting to know you, that's OK too!)! The car: You are bidding on a 1976 Avanti II. The car runs and drives on the street in traffic as you will see in the video. For an unknown reason the passenger side interior door panel is missing. Most likely it was taken off to repair the window regulator, but was lost in the process. The hardware for the door panel (knobs, window crank, etc.) is in the glovebox which will come in handy when you replace the panel. There are sources on the web to find items to redo Avanti interiors. This is a nearly 35 year old car and there are nicks, scratches, cracks, and the paint is dull and flaking. The car has a 5-digit odometer and there is no conclusive way of determining whether the odometer rolled over. An issue that may not be visible in the photos is that the sunroof is not fully back into closed position, but rather is about 1/4" down in the rearward portion. If you gently push up on it with your hand it goes back into fully closed position but will not stay there. The headlight switch is stuck in the off position. The car shifts through every gear great, and the brakes feel correct. The passenger side window regulator is not working. The driver's side works a bit but feels loose and fragile, so needs attention. The driver's side exterior lock spins 360° without locking the door. The car has an obvious exhaust leak you'll hear when you watch the video. -- no reserve -- no reserve -- no reserve -- no reserve -- no reserve -- NO MINIMUM BID -- THE TOP BIDDER WINS Use the combination of the photos, videos and text for full disclosure, with more emphasis on the photos and videos as the description is clearly not intended to be exhaustive. As eBay says, a single picture is worth a thousand words. I have been registered on eBay for close to 11 years and have 100% positive feedback. Any questions, message me through the eBay messaging system, and I will answer promptly, or you can call me at (Five-Six-One) Three-76-Two-Two-Seven-Nine.
