This car was manufactured on July 1990, but first sold in 1991 as per DMV record. This is a C2, 3.6L, Tiptronic transmission, Guards Red exterior with Black leather interior and Black convertible top. Silver alloy rims with clear coat, with S-sport seats, Power seats, seat heaters, PS, PW, PB, CC, AC, Porsche Radio/CD2, loaded. All original with many Porsche Upgrades and in excellent condition. Looks like new and runs like new. No cracks, no fades etc. Just put in ~$3,000.00 for complete tune-up: Valves adjustment, valve springs, 12 new spark plugs, air filters, gaskets, all three new belts, front and rear brakes. The car also has upgraded rear brake calipers. The two rear tires are also new, special ordered from Costco Michelin Pilot Sport. In 2002 I upgraded the wheels to 17" for Carrera 996. See photos for wheels MFG date. This car never has oil leak which is very rare for an oil-cooled Porsche. This is a very nice condition Classic Sport car. For the same money you can buy a new Honda Civic or Toyota but they don’t look like a Porsche and they don’t drive like a Porsche. On September 2010 service at McKenna Porsche and had 27 points inspection and all look good. The car was rarely left outside so there is no fades, no cracks, looks like new and runs like new. Recent Services and New Parts: I just spent over $3000.00 for tune-up and services includes · Valve Adjustment - Upper/Lower and Left/Right. · Valve springs. · Replaced all three belts (Porsche parts) · Replaced all twelve spark plugs (Porsche parts “Beru” Quad-contacts) · Front and Rear brake jobs. · New air filter (Porsche part) · Oil change and new filter (Porsche part) · Rear tires are new (Michelin Pilot Sport) NOTE: My car scored 91% where as similar cars only scored 40 – 71%. Low score means hidden facts or problematic. My engine is clean from top to bottom. You might want to ask other sellers if their cars have oil leaks, as you will spend a lot of money to fix it. The alignment is perfect and wheels are perfectly balanced. You can drive at125MPH and let go of the steering wheel and the car goes straight, and no vibration. Ask other sellers if their car runs like that. But don’t ask the CHP as I will deny any knowledge of such performance.
