Up for your consideration is this rare & classic 1968 Porsche 911L Targa with the soft rear window, we are listing this for a friend who has to sell it due to illness. This car was originally purchased in Europe and shipped to California where my friends father purchased it in 1973. The motor was overhauled in the early 1980s and the car was raced at Willow Spring during the mid 80s. The car has been in storage for a number of years, and has recently been moved to storage in Nevada where it is available for inspection. The car is in need of complete restoration but the body is almost totally rust free, the only area I saw was a small 4"x6" area in the corner of the left rear floor pan. The body is straight and has never been in an accident there are no signs of bondo anywhere on the body. The only part that has been replaced is the where the license plate is which was damaged when transporting the car. The key is missing, I bypassed the ignition to start the car, the car started and I when I got the RPMs up it sounded great. The carburetors are needing replaced as I got it started but couldnt keep it running. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION ASK ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING AND I WILL DO MY BEST TO ANSWER YOU.
