1973 Triumph Tiger

This is a great running bike with some of the best features of the later Triumph oil in the frame bikes. It was the first year of disk front brakes, 5-speed gearbox and 750cc engine. I purchased the bike about two years ago and since that time have replaced many parts to make it a reliable bike. Since the bike is a Tiger 750 it only has one AMAL carb to fiddle with, so it starts and runs good. The bike still runs points - and they work fine. Bike has a clear title and is registered "Antique" in TN. New items include: front disk fork gaiters seals lower fork caps battery regulator/rectifier rear brake switch plug leads and caps rubber items handlebar bushings grips rear tire rear drive chain airbox covers shocks air filters cables The seat was also fairly new when I got the bike and looks great. I did a 2-part epoxy coating (Caswell) of the tank, so it should never rust through or leak. Paint is original (patina included). There is an oil leak from the tach drive (common). The speedo drive is broken (also common). This is a bike for someone who appreciates vintage motorcycles. It runs and goes well, but it is now over 35 years old, so you need to keep that in mind if you are looking for a bike as your only means of transportation! Yes, that is a gas stain on the original paint job on the tank. Also, it needs a new front tire (this one has a bad case of dry rot).
