Great classic BMW. The last year of this distinct model (until recently). This model and year was recently featured on HD Theater as a car that is up and coming as a strong collectable. This car is in really good shape. It runs fine and is a blast to drive, very solid. I purchased it on ebay 2 years ago to use as a weekend car and it has been great. I don't drive it anymore so am selling it. The body is good, no rust or dents, just a few dings. The paint looks good at about 10 feet and as you can see in the pictures is very presentable. Tires are about 50% and I just put front brakes on it. The interior carpet is great, the back seats and center rear console are very good. The front seats could use seat covers or they need to be redone. They are not horrible but the leather is cracked at the seams. The dash is cracked, but you won't find a 1989 that isn't. Car has front and rear air. It needs to be recharged, it worked when I bought it. The odometer stopped working about 6 mos. ago so the car probably has 139,000 miles instead of 137,000. It has an oil leak towards the rear of the valve cover that stops once the car is warmed up. It really is a cool car, I hate to sell it but it is just sitting and I don't want that.
