1948 BMW R-Series

This is the best and last BMW R35 that I have owned. The bike is nearly 100% original / complete(even the tires are original with good tread ) and was in running condition before it was disassembled for restoration 2003. The motor and final drive turns freely and the motor has good compression. I wanted to keep and restore this bike but unfortunately my situation is such that I have to depart from it. From my knowledge the motor hasn't been opened and I was told from the original owner's son that the father rode it seldomly due to impracticality of a motorcycle without sidecar. Missing is a wiring harness, (clutch, brake,spark advance, and throttle) cables,speedometer and speedo cable. I have a foreign title and all US import documents , all of which is in my name. Muffler/exhaust and fork springs are new from Germany and many original parts have been rechromed.
