Vehicle Detail
I bought this Ford Bronco in March this year with the intent of having a daily driver project. It was locally owned by a gentleman here in Nebraska who says he owned it for the last 8 years. He claims that right after he bought it he repainted it the original white to preserve the body which was in excellent condition. The 351 windsor engine that is still currently in the bronco was already swapped in place of the original 302. Aside from the engine the rest of the drive train appears to be the original C4 automatic transmission and Dana 20 transfer case. The rear brakes are still drum but the front brakes have had a disc brake conversion. The only work I have done on the truck has been mechanical since I wanted to be able to drive it daily before I started anything else. I replaced the oil pressure sending unit then focused on the power steering which wasn't functional. I replaced the power steering pump, reservoir, and all pressure lines and fittings. Now the power steering works excellent. Next the Bronco needed a new starter and flex plate which I had professionally installed. Now the Bronco starts on the first crank and engine runs strong. I have cruised the bronco as fast as 70mph and the transmission runs smooth. All gages and switches work but the speedometer seems off, it may be due to the 33 inch tires. The heater works well and all lights and blinkers function properly. The interior is mostly original including: front and rear seats, door panels, dash, and wiper motor cover. The body of this bronco is in impressive condition, there are no major dents and rust is at a minimum. At one time carpet was in the bronco which trapped moisture and caused surface rust on the rear floor, and made the front floor pans unsalvagable. My next step after fixing the known mechanical problems would be to restore the interior, including sand blasting the rear floor and replacing the driver and passenger floor pans. However due to the economy and lack of funds and time I decided all future plans will be up to the next dedicated owner. The attached pictures speak for themselves as to the excellent condition this bronco's body and frame are in. Most of the usual rusted areas are almost untouched except for surface rust. I have wire wheeled one area of the rear floor to show what condition the metal is in. Please don't hesitate as I will be Glad to answer any question and e-mail requested pictures 402-414-1843*This is a re-list and I have lowered my price to what I believe is a fair BUY IT NOW* New Parts:-power steering pump-pump reservoir-power steering lines-stainless brake lines to proportioning valve-exhaust manifold gaskets-starter-oil pressure sending unit-transmission pan gasket This vehicle is sold as-is and no warranty is implied. $500 due at end of auction through paypal and is non-refundable.
