2003 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE Z71 4X4 5.3L V8 This low mileage 2003 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE up for sale is a 4x4 with the Z71 Off-Road Package. It is the Regular Cab model with the stepside short bed. It is in overall very good used condition, however there are a few items I would like to point out. The tires on the rear of the truck need to be replaced. They were taken from the front of the truck and put on the rear. There is uneven wear on these two tires indicating that the front end needs to be aligned. There are pictures included of both the front and rear tires. The front tires are still serviceable. Also, there is some peeling on the top of the dashboard on the passenger side. This was caused by a CD that was left on the dashboard in the hot sun. There is a picture of this peeling included in the pictures. The ABS light is illuminated on the dash. I am not completely sure of the cause, but have a reasonably good idea. A few months ago I changed the wheel hub/bearing assembly on the passenger side front. A day or two after this the ABS light came on. I believe there may be a short in the wire that connects the ABS sensor, but I am not completely certain. Additionally, there is some minor damage to the passenger side door and the area immediately to its left. I have included pictures of this damage. The damage occurred while the truck was parked in a grocery store parking lot. I received estimates for this work from respected body shops in the range of $525.00 to $575.00. There is also some minor pitting in some areas of the Moto Metal wheels and most of the lug nuts have some rust and pitting. Also, while the bed cover in still in reasonably good condition, keeping any cargo dry, there are a number of the snaps that need to be replaced. Those are the only items that I am aware of that need to be addressed or at least taken notice of. The pricing of the truck I believe takes into account the value of correcting these issues. Please be advised that I have done my best to point out any issues with the truck, but it is a used vehicle with normal wear and tear and is being sold as is. The current mileage on the truck is as of the time of this listing, but will go up a bit since the car is driven each day. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have, just email me.
