The car is referred to as a barn find as the previous owner put it storage in 1973 and started to work on it. There it sat for nearly forty years, the car is as I found it. It was and still is stored inside for all of those years. The reason I am selling it is as can be seen by the pictures I have too many projects. This is the last year of the XK150, so has the 3.8 liter motor, dual exhaust, and disc brakes. It is a numbers matching car with a four speed overdrive transmission and of most importance a solid rust free body. The grill has been re-chromed. It also has a clear title. The distributor (has dist. cap), the generator, and the front cover for the timing chain adjustment were misplaced over the years and need to be replaced. This is an excellent car for restoration and appears to be in good shape. The only rust I found on the car was at the battery trays (where the batteries set). This is an easy fix. There was "no rust" under the doors or in the trunk area. All holes in the car were put in at the factory.The frame looks very good. The only rust repair to the body will be at the battery boxes. I have found no areas that would lead me to believe the car has ever been in a serious accident. See new pictures below!!
