Hello and thanks for looking at my auction. Up for sale is a 2004 crown victoria police interceptor. I have owned this car for several months and it is a strong running vehicle ( motor runs strong and transmission shifts as it should ). I am a Law Enforcement Officer here in Pa and use this car daily for judical duties so mileage will vary at the end of auction. Due to my job description,this vehicle has to be roadworthy to avoid any breakdowns during any transports to and from jail facilities. Since i have owned this vehicle i have done alot of preventative maintenence to prevent this vehicle from breaking down. I do have all receipts to prove what has been done to this vehicle since being in my posession. Everything that has been done to this vehicle is... 1. A brand new intake purchased at autozone (Has a limited lifetime warranty) Fuel injector o rings. 2. A reman starter (Has a limited lifetime warranty ) 3. Brand new motocraft spark plugs 4. New transmission screen and flush 5. Newer coil packs from a grand marquis with 46,000 miles 6. Antifreeze coolant flush 7. New thermostat 8. New altenator pulley 9. New upper control A arm bushings 10. Front end alignment 11. Good year tires on back and used republic brand tires on front (front tires are kind of loud going down the road,only the tires are loud nothing else ( not the wheel bearings etc. ) 12. Oil change with Castrol GTX and Duralube All the brakes on the vehicle are about 80% and the rotors are in good shape.(purchased the vehicle that way,stops very well) The rearend,drivetrain are in good shape with no shimmys. READ THIS : The next owner of this vehicle will have to have the air conditioner checked out. It does hold a charge for about 3 weeks and the air does work,but loses it charge in that time frame. I have charged it with 1 8oz bottle of freon when it would start to get cool and worked fine through the summer as long as i charged it when it got low.There is a leak somewhere in the system and you can hear the compressor working.(so it's not the compressor) The heat works very well and all the settings work,defrost,mix,vent etc.This is the only mechanical thing that needs looked at The interior of the vehicle is a dark gray and is in good shape overall with no holes in the dash area (unless i take the mic holder off as shown in pic ) The air bag light is on and i never had that checked out,but does not affect the performance of the car. No other dash lights are on. Now the exterior of the vehicle is in good shape with the paint still being glossy (normal scratches and dings will be found,little paint chips) On top of the roof there are 3 plugs from the lightbar being there shown in the pics. The only bad spot on the car is the hood which i have shown in the pics. It does need to be resprayed (repainted) .Ford from 2003 up till present has had this problem with their white paint chipping off in many places on their vehicles and i don't know why. I had run over some yellow paint on the road somewhere as shown in the pics and will try to have it removed before end of auction. All in all this is a very good running police intercetor and i have put alot of time and money into this vehicle to make it right. Like i stated above in the description,(the air conditioner needs looked at) and thats all that needs attention on this vehicle. I have spent $ 628.68 plus some to get this vehicle back in shape and to be roadworthy. I have been a good ebayer (seller -buyer) on here for a while now and have sold several of these cars on here and i do have very good feedback on all my vehicles. I DO NOT SELL JUNK BECAUSE I WOULD NOT WANT TO BUY JUNK, LOOK AT MY FEEDBACK. I have described this car in detail pertaining to what i have done and what needs to be done to my knowledge. According to NADA: Rough trade in is $2,250/ Average trade in $ 3,275/ Clean retail $ $ 4,125 /Clean retail $ 6,600. I have a lower reserve below average due to the hood needing repainted. I'm not going to play games with these types of people who bid and are not going to follow through with the transaction. Also they do have a (0) feedback.
