1970 Triumph Trident

This auction is for an early edition Triumph Trident that has been sensibily upgraded with many new parts that were intended for the later generation of Trident models. For the experts out there I know that this model was orginally fitted with a breadbox tank and hub front brake etc. I do NOT have the original parts. The motorcycle was serviced in April of this year at British USA in Houston Texas. The general condition of this motorcycle is excellent. New parts fitted include. Fenders,Rebuilt wheels with chrome rims and stainless spokes. Braided brake lines. New tires (Avon). New flat back headlamp. New seat (Very small mark on side of seat barely noticeable). New battery. Gas tank has small dent 1" diameter 1/8" depth on top (see photo). The engine is very clean and side cases have been chromed as have others parts, kick stand rear footrest carriers. Chainguard chrome is good.Grabrail good.Exhaust downpipes are very good condition. Muffler is scratched underneath due to limited ground clearance because of the skinny rear tire which I had intended to replace. I have tried to describe everything honestly and fairly however please remember this motorcycle is 40 years old. I recently charged the battery and started the engine. I have set the auction start price at a fair price with NO reserve. I am travelling overseas regularly on business and hence do not have the time to ride or wrench on this classic cycle !
