I am an Ivy League graduate. I am in my mid-30s. I am a serious fellow, and I've been on the national and local TV news giving unpaid and unsolicited financial market commentary; also been in major national newspapers and magazines doing the same. Most recently, I was quoted in AARP magazine. There is nothing being hidden about this car, as so many people do. You don't get 100% positive feedback over 11 years of registration by hiding things. If there is something you should know about this car of which I am aware, it's available to you in the auction. I go out of my way to make sure people are satisfied. Look at my specific feedback...look how the guy who bought the truck recently said, "You can trust Seth with your eyes closed." I work hard to make sure I get comments like that; I don't take it lightly, and it means a tremendous amount to me. I look forward to getting to know you if you'd like me to (or if you'd like to buy the car without me getting to know you, that's OK too!)! The car: You are bidding on a 1977 Porsche 911s with an 96,559 miles. It is not driveable because the brake pedal is stuck in place and the fuel pedal is laying in place; the engine runs on fuel that you put in the air intake -- it seems to be getting at least a little fuel from the main tank, but either it's not getting enough fuel from the main tank or not getting any at all. It does run nicely on the fuel you pour into the intake, as you'll see in the video. The roof has some stripes of rust and there are a couple spots here and there...see photos. The floors are solid as are other typical trouble spots. The clutch pedal feels good, and the shifter can be moved nicely through every gear. The tires are worn, though not dry rotted. The interior is literally very dirty and dusty though not torn up. I haven't cleaned it to any degree. This car was in Arizona for a significant period of time as supported by the included ownership documentation, which points to why it doesn't have more rust. Use the photos and videos as your guide. The sunroof is not fully seated back in closed position and may leak the way it is. I haven't tried to close it further. The interior is in good shape because the important areas were covered. When I received the car, it had really old seat covers covering the front seats. I through out the seat covers to reveal the seats underneath in the condition you see them. The dash has a fabric cover on it, which has protected it. There are photos of with, and without that cover in place. The rear window sill also has a similar cover on it. I get some oil drips on the floor from the crankcase (not a huge amount), when the car is stored. There are new Porsche brand brackets included for the engine cover. The engine cover is on the car, but not anchored in place. As eBay says, a single picture is worth a thousand words. I have been registered on eBay for close to 11 years and have 100% positive feedback. Any questions, message me through the eBay messaging system, and I will answer promptly, or you can call me at (Five-Six-One) Three-76-Two-Two-Seven-Nine. Here are two videos of it running: The following slideshow automatically displays the first 100 of the ~200 available pictures. That's just a Photo Bucket limitation...to view the rest of them, right-click on the "View all" at the bottom right of the slideshow and select open in new tab or window: AUCTION RULES: Full payment is due within within 7 calendar days of auction ending by either cash in-person or bank wire only. (Once you receive a fraudulent cashier's check from a buyer, you'll never accept another one either!) Pickup is also due within 14 calendar days, and may not occur until funds have cleared. Storage for the first 14 days in FREE. There is a storage charge of $150/week beyond 14 days, and is limited to 2 extra weeks (for a total of 4 weeks of storage). You must read the entire auction description, follow the rules, and study each picture and video fully. -- no reserve -- no reserve -- no reserve -- no reserve -- no reserve -- NO MINIMUM BID -- THE TOP BIDDER WINSOn Oct-10-10 at 20:20:46 PDT, seller added the following information: Regarding the illuminating original master key I mentioned that has a light in it, it's either missing the light, or the button you press to turn on the light...I forget which. On Oct-11-10 at 23:05:55 PDT, seller added the following information: I meant to write I "threw out" the old seat covers which had protected the seats...typo: I wrote "through out" in the description above; that's for any language purists out there. On Oct-16-10 at 23:58:26 PDT, seller added the following information: I don't offer any kind of a warranty on anything that I sell, ever, as a matter of policy -- this car is As Is with no warranty.
