1956 Studebaker Power Hawk A very nice example of an unrestored Hawk. Car has always been a Southern California car till moving here to NC last year. Clean engine compartment! This Studie has most all its original paint with exception of the trunk lid which must have had a minor altercation in its distant past though not really noticeable. I purchased this car from its second owner last year in Orange having been sold new in Santa Ana, CA. The car has has been serviced regularly though I have done many things to this Hawk to insure its roadability.It has a new $400 high efficiency radiator. gauge sits at 180 in 90 degree outside temp. New thermostat New cores plugs - no leaks - inside of block cleaned of debris New water temperature sender - works great New radiator hoses New front crank seal - no leaks New battery New cap, rotor, points, plugs, wires, Nice Speedster wheel covers Most all original paint except for paint on trunk lid. Car is very solid with no body or trunk rust - very minor rust shows on drivers side floor. Interior is very nice - seats have been redone sometime ago and have held up very nicely. Car shows 59,000 * and there isn't any reason to think it has turned over. The engine runs great and transmission shifts well. The overdrive is not hooked up. All lights and gauges work. Heater works fabulously. Not a 100 point show car as it has little buggers here and there, but ohhhh what great driver condition!
