Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1980 Pontiac Bonneville with a Pontiac 301 V8. This is the original engine and original transmission, TH350, with only 116,000 miles on them. This vehicle has been kept in my family it's entire life. I still have all of the original documents. My father has kept this car and refused to sell it or drive it since it came into his possession. I had taken ownership in an attempt to restore it and modify it to the point where I could give it back to my dad and he would enjoy the car. The project has become quite frustrating and I no longer have the time nor space to finish this project, so I have to sell it. Modifications: Monroe Severe Service shocks on the front and Monroe SensaTrac shocks on the rear (Installed in 2008), Energy Suspension upper and lower control arm bushings (Installed in 2008), Energy Suspension sway bar links and bump stops (2008), Hella glass headlamp conversion with Sylvania Silverstar bulbs (2008), Optima Blue Top battery (2008), GM Type II power steering pump and Moroso remote mount power steering reservoir (2009), electric fan (2008), 4" Spectre aluminum cold air intake with K&N filter (2008), Dynomax headers w/ Magnaflow catalytic converters and Dynomax Ultra Flo mufflers (2008), Transdapt oil filter relocation kit (2008) Damage: The four bumper fillers have been missing for at least 12 years, someone hit and ran in my rear quarter (slight dent), driver's seat fabric is torn. Maintenance: Just replaced the cap, rotor, wires, plugs and coil, and she just got a brand new radiator. Differential fluid changed in 2008 with less than 9,000 miles put on it since. Oil change was done recently. Transmission fluid was also changed in 2008 with the differential fluid. Cooling system flushed when the radiator was installed. How does it drive: Rides like a dream with the suspension work that has been done, used to float and rock around like a boat, no more. The rear axle has highway gearing, 2.73s IIRC, it has some punch at highway speeds. Current status: It's been sitting for awhile, doesn't want to start, carb may need to be rebuilt (It has never been off). Shipping & Payment: Buyer is responsible for shipping. $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction ending, remaining balance due within 7 days of auction ending or upon pickup of vehicle, whichever comes first. Please feel free to ask me any questions about this vehicle.
