I am listing this beautiful 1977 Chrysler Newport 4-Door Hardtop for a friend, Mr. Curt Anderson. Any questions concerning the vehicle should be directed to him at 409-898-0832. Mr. Anderson has owned this car for several years and now health issues force the sale of his vehicle. He purchased the Newport from the original owner’s estate in a central Texas town sitting in a barn and covered with dust. The car is highly optioned for a vehicle from its day when you had to pay for each option individually rather than as a packaged group. It includes air conditioning, auto-pilot, am/fm 8-track radio, a 3-spoke sport steering wheel, power windows, power driver’s seat and reclining passenger seat, 3-speed electric wipers, vent wings, wheel skirts, fender-mounted turn indicators, a trunk dress-up package, factory mats, and a Williamsburg-patterned tan cloth interior. It also includes power steering, power brakes, 400 CID and a 4bl carburetor coupled with a torque-flite transmission, and new Michelins all the way around. The Newport is a 44k mile unmolested original that is 100% complete with zero rust, never hit, never smoked in, and a clear Texas title. Although the car runs and drives Mr. Anderson says it needs a tune up and a radiator before it can be driven any distance. A new radiator is included in the sale of the vehicle. It also needs current license and inspection as it has sat in dry storage for the last 3 years. Mr. Anderson would like to state that the Newport suffered absolutely no damages from Hurricanes Rita, Humberto, and Ike.
