You are bidding on a used 1997 Landrover Discovery SE. Vehicle is in very good condition with only 95,711 miles on it. I bought it for an overseas assignment but was unable to take it with me, Iv'e never needed an off road vehicle in the States so I plan on replacing it with a car. This Landrover drives and handles very good on the highway and around town, the 4 wheel drive transfer case shifts smoothly from low to high range as does the differential lock. Since owning the vehichle I have replaced all 4 brake rotors along with the pads and brake fluid, changed the spark plugs and pcv valve, replaced the air filter with a lifetime K&N filter, installed Rain X wiper blades, replaced the stock muffler with a Flowmaster muffler, and installed a new heavy duty 800cca battery last month. This is a smoke free vehicle, the ashtray is spotless and looks new. There are no dents on the bodywork and most of the paint is in very good shape with some fading on the fenders and roof. The underside of the vehicle is clean and free of dirt. The sound system consists of a 6 unit CD player (storage box is under passenger seat), an AM/FM Stereo along with a Weather band, and a cassette player, all of the sound system operates perfectly. There is even a mobile phone which still powers up. The tires are P235/70/R16's and along with the spare have plenty of good tread remaining (see photos). The AC blows cold ( the most important feature this summer). The front power windows operate smoothly, the rear passenger windows for some reason operate once the vehicle has been driven for a few minutes. The front moon roof motor is not working (the fuses are good) The rear moon roof opens and closes smoothly. The rear windshield wiper does not work I haven't seen this as a problem since the rear defroster keeps it clear in bad weather. The cruise control does not work. The ABS light ocassionally comes on and off this has occured since Iv'e owned the vehicle and is seperate from the brake light which never comes on and the brakes operate perfectly. The service engine light came on at 80,000 miles, page 39 of the owners book states that it is supposed to come on at 50,000 miles and means that an emissions service is required, I had an OBD computer check made and no codes came up, the anual emissions check (May 2010) at 94,590 miles also showed no codes. One of the power steering fluid reservoir hoses has a slight leak. The lug wrench, jack handles and removable roof rack bars appear to be new and unused and are stored in a vinyl bag under the rear passenger seat. The jack is located in the engine compartment. It's a long description but I wanted to detail the vehicle as much as possible, please ask questions before bidding, as with all the vehicles that I have sold on Ebay it is being sold as is without any warranty.
