Vehicle Detail
This truck is in good shape for it's age. The original owner was the father-in law of a friend that I purchased it from in 2002. It was a solid daily driver for 4 years and was well maintained. Since then it was only driven a few times and is showing some signs of sitting. Upon last being driven I noticed small exhaust leaks, 1 in the driver's side exhaust manifold and the other at the passenger side donut between the manifold and exhaust pipe. Minor other signs of age show but are not bad at all. Minor starts af body rust in the usual cavity locations are mostly still cosmetic. The engine is the 360 C.I. V8 and still starts up pretty quickly and runs very well. Transmission is solid but the front seal has dried up and leaks now. Both side window cranks have become quite sticky, and the turn signal cam in the steering column needs to be replaced. This truck is original factory equipment with exception of wheels, steering wheel, stereo, and exhaust system,(changed to dual exhaust shortly before I purchased the truck). A drop hitch has also been added. It also comes with a matching color fiberglass shell. Very little would have to be done to make this truck a daily driver again, but it's current overall condition is ripe for a classic restoration. I planned on that but just never got around to it due to changing life conditions. The truck has sat parked for 2 years and does not have current registration. Best to tow or have it hauled, but could be driven with current license and insurance. I invite any and all questions about this truck to anyone interested. E-mail would be best and answered more quickly Current value through NADA guides is $7600 on the low end, making this a steal at the asking price.
